Internship FAQ
Are the internships paid?

Most internships are unpaid or voluntary. The exception is the CV Writer role, which pays £15–25 per CV. In return for unpaid roles, you receive free course access (£491 value), a formal reference, and a LinkedIn recommendation. Strong performers move into paid roles as GulfBridge grows.
Do I need to be a student?

No. While we welcome university students (and can provide placement documentation), internships are open to graduates, career-changers, and anyone wanting to build skills. We look for enthusiasm, reliability and strong communication.
Do I need Arabic to apply?

Only for the Arabic Course Content Developer and Arabic Tutor roles. For all other positions, Arabic is not required — you'll learn it during your placement through your free course access.
Can I do a university placement here?

Yes — we support formal university placement programmes and can provide all required documentation including offer letter, learning objectives, supervisor details, and a final evaluation report.
How many hours per week?

Typically 6–12 hours per week depending on the role. We're flexible and work around your schedule. Hours are discussed and agreed at interview stage.
Where are you based?

GulfBridge Academy is based in Manchester, UK — but all roles are remote-first. You can work from anywhere in the UK. Weekly check-ins via video call. Occasional Manchester meetups may be arranged but are never compulsory.
What happens after the internship?
